La red social blockchain piensa invertir el 25% de su balance en Cripto
Minds está asignando el 5% de su efectivo a Bitcoin, el 10% a ether y el 10% a USDC.
La startup de red social blockchain Minds está convirtiendo el 25% de su balance, o alrededor de 2,5 millones de dólares, en criptomonedas, dijo a Fortune su fundador y director ejecutivo Bill Ottman en unentrevistapublicado el jueves.
- Ottman dijo que la medida representa alrededor de una cuarta parte de la ronda de financiación Serie B de 10 millones de dólares que la compañía recaudó en junio.
- En total, Minds está destinando el 5% de su efectivo a Bitcoin, el 10% a ether y otro 10% al producto Circle Yield respaldado por USDC de Circle.
- “Tiene un gran impacto cuando Tesla, Square y MicroStrategy [compran Cripto], pero si podemos crear un fenómeno en el que todas las nuevas empresas inviertan un porcentaje tangible de su balance en Cripto, esa es una tendencia seria que realmente podría cambiar el mercado”, dijo Ottman a Fortune.
- Minds es una red social que permite a sus cinco millones de miembros promocionar sus publicaciones y realizar transacciones utilizando Cripto.
- El CEO continuó explicando que gran parte de la infraestructura de Minds se ejecuta en Ethereum y agregó: "creemos en Ethereum y queremos mantener [Ether]".
