Tether escolhe o economista-chefe da Chainalysis, Philip Gradwell, como chefe de economia
Gradwell será responsável por quantificar a economia do Tether para os reguladores.

A Tether contratou o economista-chefe da empresa de análise de blockchain Chainalysis, Philip Gradwell, para assumir uma posição semelhante na gigante das stablecoins, onde ele será responsável por quantificar a economia da Tether para os reguladores, disse a empresa na segunda-feira.
Gradwell passou mais de seis anos como economista-chefe na Chainanalysis e assumirá o cargo de chefe de economia na Tether.

Tether, que imita o dólar americano com o token baseado em blockchain USDT, é de longe a maior stablecoin em circulação, com mais de 112 mil milhões de dólarescapitalização de mercado.
“Meu objetivo na Tether é mudar essa conversa para entender como os ativos digitais são usados na economia real e como o USDT está apoiando a hegemonia do dólar”, disse Gradwell em uma declaração.
