A nova gestão da falida bolsa de Criptomoeda FTX contratou investigadores forenses da consultoria AlixPartners para rastrear bilhões de dólares que desapareceram,o Wall Street Journal relatou.
A equipe da AlixPartners será liderada por Matt Jacques, ex-contador-chefe da divisão de fiscalização da Securities and Exchange Commission, informou o Journal na quarta-feira.

John RAY III, um especialista em reestruturação que supervisionou a falência da Enron Corp., assumiu como CEO quando a FTX entrou com pedido de proteção contra falência no mês passado. A equipe de Jacques tem a tarefa de rastrear os fundos que desapareceram da FTX enquanto a empresa afundava em meio a um congelamento de liquidez.
A AlixPartners foi contratada pela U.S. Securities Investor Protection Corp. para ajudar a recuperar fundos roubados no caso Bernie Madoff,afirma o site da empresa de investigação.
