Figment atinge status de unicórnio com US$ 110 milhões na Série C
A rodada de financiamento foi liderada por Thoma Bravo e também incluiu Binance, Mirae Asset, ParaFi Capital, Bitstamp e Franklin Templeton.
O provedor de infraestrutura Blockchain Figment levantou US$ 110 milhões em uma rodada da Série C liderada pela empresa de investimento em software Thoma Bravo. O financiamento mais recente eleva a avaliação da empresa para US$ 1,4 bilhão, disse Figment em comunicado à imprensa na segunda-feira.
- Outros participantes da rodada foram Counterpoint Global do Morgan Stanley, Binance Labs, Mirae Asset, ParaFi Capital, Avon Ventures, Bitstamp e Franklin Templeton, entre outros.
- A Figment usará o financiamento para acelerar o crescimento da Web 3 e aumentar o número de funcionários. A Web 3 é a terceira geração de serviços de Internet que foram possibilitados por redes descentralizadas.
- A Série C segue uma rodada da Série B de US$ 50 milhões em agosto, liderada pelos investidores institucionais Senator Investment Group e Liberty City Ventures. Anchorage Digital, Galaxy Digital e 10T Ventures também participaram da Série B. Um unicórnio é uma startup com avaliação de mais de US$ 1 bilhão, que a Figment alcançou com a última rodada de financiamento.
- A Figment desenvolve sistemas e infraestrutura de back-end que fornecem rendimento em tokens para blockchains de prova de participação (PoS).
