Bitcoin raggiunge il massimo storico sopra i 66.000 $ grazie alla forza del debutto dell'ETF ProShares
L'ultimo Rally sembra essere stato alimentato dal debutto di successo, martedì, del primo fondo negoziato in borsa statunitense sui future Bitcoin .
Bitcoin, la più grande Criptovaluta al mondo per capitalizzazione di mercato, ha raggiunto un nuovo massimo storico sopra i 66.000 $, segnando una piena ripresa da un crollo durato mesi ed estendendo i guadagni dell'anno a quasi il 130%.
La Criptovaluta ha superato il precedente record di prezzo di 64.889 dollari stabilito ad aprile e alle 15:44 UTC (11:44 ET) veniva scambiata a 66.685 dollari.

La più grande Criptovaluta sembra aver ricevuto una spinta martedì dal lancio del ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, il primo fondo negoziato in borsa approvato dalla Securities and Exchange Commission statunitense per investire in future su Bitcoin .
Il nuovo fondo, quotato alla Borsa di New York con il ticker BITO, ha raccolto 570 milioni di dollari di asset nel suo primo giorno e ha accumulato un volume di scambi di 1 miliardo di dollari, classificandosi tra ii lanci di maggior successo di tutti i tempi.
Nelle prossime settimane, potrebbero debuttare negli Stati Uniti altri ETF basati sui futures Bitcoin , aprendo la possibilità agli investitori esperti in Cripto statunitensi di partecipare a quello che è noto come "contanti e trasporto"strategia di arbitraggio.
Questi ETF acquisterebbero contratti futures su Bitcoin su mercati regolamentati come il Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), nel tentativo di replicare l'andamento del prezzo della criptovaluta invece di acquistare Bitcoin veri e propri.
