- Piszel succede a Stacey Hoisak, che diventa presidente e responsabile legale dell'azienda.
- Prima di entrare in Coinsquare, Piszel era responsabile dello sviluppo aziendale presso Tradelogiq Mercati. Ha co-fondato Alpha ATS, che è stata poi venduta alla Borsa di Toronto.
- A maggio, Mogo, un fornitore canadese di app finanziarie quotato al Nasdaq e alla Borsa di Toronto,aumentatola sua proprietà di Coinsquare a circa il 37%.
