ProShares Bitcoin Futures ETF 'BITO' sale al debutto
L'attesissimo strumento di investimento ha aperto le contrattazioni alla Borsa di New York.
Le azioni del fondo negoziato in borsa ProShares Bitcoin Strategy, il primo ETF legato ai futures Bitcoin ad essere negoziato negli Stati Uniti, sono inizialmente aumentate del 3% all'inizio delle contrattazioni e di recente sono aumentate dell'1,6% a 40,63 dollari al loro debutto martedì sulla Borsa di New York.
- Il fondo è negoziato con il simbolo BITO ed è collegato ai futures Bitcoin negoziati sul Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
- La Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) degli Stati Unitivia libera l'ETF sui futures Bitcoin venerdì.
- ProShares ha presentato la sua domanda per il suo Bitcoin Strategy ETF la scorsa estate dopo che il presidente della SEC Gary Gensler ha chiarito la sua preferenza per un fondo Bitcoin collegato al mercato dei futures piuttosto che direttamente al Bitcoin stesso. Si prevede che altri ETF Bitcoin futures saranno approvati e inizieranno a essere negoziati a breve.
- L'attesa dell'approvazione del fondo ProShares ha fatto salire il prezzo del Bitcoin, con prezzi che hanno superato i $ 60.000 per la prima volta in quasi sei mesi la scorsa settimana. Martedì, il prezzo del Bitcoin è rimasto pressoché invariato nelle ultime 24 ore a $ 61.862.
