Le fondateur de FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, a fait appel de sa condamnation et de sa peine pour fraude et complot jeudi, quelques heures avant la date limite pour le faire.
Bankman-Fried a été reconnu coupable en novembre dernier après un procès d'un mois pour sept chefs d'accusation différents, dont la fraude contre les clients de FTX et les investisseurs d'Alameda Research. Ses sociétés ont déposé le bilan l’année précédente.

Plus tôt ce mois-ci, Bankman-Fried a été condamné à 25 ans de prison fédérale pour son rôle dans l'effondrement de la bourse, ainsi qu'à 3 ans de liberté surveillée et 11 milliards de dollars de confiscation.
