JPMorgan a réalisé un test « intello » de paiements par blockchain dans l'espace, selon un dirigeant

« L'idée était d'explorer les paiements [Internet des objets] de manière entièrement décentralisée », a déclaré Umar Farooq, PDG d'Onyx, la branche blockchain de la banque. L'équipe blockchain a travaillé avec la société danoise GOMspace, qui loue l'utilisation de ses satellites.
Les tests ont finalement montré que la Technologies blockchain pouvait permettre des paiements entre objets du quotidien, selon la banque.
« L'espace est un lieu plus décentralisé et éloigné de la Terre. De plus, nous sommes des passionnés et c'était une façon bien plus amusante de tester l'IoT », a déclaré Farooq.
L'Internet des objets (IoT) décrit un réseau d'objets physiques dotés de capteurs ou de logiciels et pouvant partager des données.
