Emily Parker était directrice exécutive du contenu mondial chez CoinDesk. Auparavant, elle était membre de l'équipe de planification Juridique du Département d'État américain, où elle conseillait sur la liberté d'Internet et la diplomatie numérique. Emily a été rédactrice au Wall Street Journal et au New York Times. Elle est cofondatrice de LongHash, une startup blockchain axée sur les Marchés asiatiques.

Elle est l'auteure de « Now I Know Who My Comrades Are: Voices From the Internet Underground » (Farrar, Straus & Giroux).
