tomiNet was founded by a group known as the Free Birds, which includes Abraham Piha and Moshe Hogeg among its members. This founding group developed the project, while governance and continuity are managed by the tomiDAO — a decentralised autonomous organisation that oversees network policy and governance. The tomiDAO allows stakeholders, such as TOMI token holders and Pioneer NFT holders, to participate in decisions related to protocol management and community guidelines. While Piha and Hogeg are identified members, other individuals in the Free Birds group remain anonymous.
