Sinabi ni Fed Chair Powell sa House Democrats na Kailangan ng U.S. Stablecoin Bill: Politico
Sinabi rin ni Powell na kakailanganin ng CBDC ang pag-apruba ng Kongreso bago kumilos ang Federal Reserve.
Sinabi ni Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell sa House Democrats na kailangan ng U.S. a legislative framework para sa mga stablecoin, iniulat ni Politico.
Sa kanyang closed-door meeting noong Martes kasama ang mga Democrats mula sa House Financial Services Committee, iniulat na sinabi niya na natutuwa siya na ang mga negosasyon ay "malapit" sa batas ng stablecoin, ayon kay Politico, na binanggit ang isang taong naroon.

Sinabi rin niya na ang pag-apruba ng Kongreso ay kinakailangan para sa anumang digital na pera ng sentral na bangko bago lumipat dito ang Fed.
"Kung magkakaroon tayo ng CBDC, kailangan itong pahintulutan ng Kongreso," aniya, ayon sa ulat. "T kami mga tagapagtaguyod, ngunit T kami nakagawa ng desisyon na magrekomenda ng CBDC sa Kongreso."
