Las grandes empresas incursionan en los juegos blockchain con una recaudación de fondos de $725 millones para Forte
Forte utilizará la financiación, que eleva el capital total recaudado este año a más de 900 millones de dólares, para ampliar sus productos y servicios.
Los principales actores del Cripto Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Cosmos, Polygon Studios y Solana Ventures estuvieron entre los que invirtieron $725 millones adicionales en financiación para cerrar una ronda de Serie B para la plataforma de juegos blockchain Forte.
- La ronda fue liderada por Sea Capital y Kora Management con la participación de varios editores de juegos y medios, incluidos Animoca Brands, Big Bets (Huuuge Games), Overwolf, Playstudios, Warner Music Group y zVentures (Razer).
- Los fondos se utilizarán para ampliar los productos y servicios de Forte, así como para acelerar la incorporación de editores de juegos y contenidos emergentes.
- Los editores de juegos utilizan la plataforma de Forte para incorporar la Tecnología blockchain a sus juegos. La plataforma también permite tokens no fungibles (NFT) para ser acuñadas y vendidas.
- En mayo, Forte recaudó 185 millones de dólares en una ronda de Serie A con una valoración de 1.000 millones de dólares liderada por Griffin Gaming Partners.
- Esta reciente financiación eleva el capital total recaudado por Forte este año a más de 900 millones de dólares.
