Janine Grainger is a Kiwi entrepreneur and celebrated leader in the fintech and blockchain sectors. Since establishing Easy Crypto in 2017, Janine has transformed the platform into New Zealand’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, designed to make crypto simple, secure and accessible for everyone. Easy Crypto has transacted over NZD $3 billion and serves 250,000 customers across New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

This leadership extends to the global stage, where she contributes to shaping crypto policy and trust frameworks as part of APEC’s Digital Trust Working Group and the V20 virtual asset summit. She was recognized as ‘IBM Most Inspiring Individual Award’ at the Hi-tech awards for 2023; and as one of ten winners of the NEAR Foundation’s Women in Web3 Changemakers award. She also sits on the Executive Council for FinTechNZ.
